First time investor, should I be minority owner?
Semi-experienced older friend offered to bring me in 25% on a multifamily (all the cash I have), not because he needs cash, but he thinks we can do some serious damage together down the road.
If i’m going in 25% on a mortgage, does it make sense to take out another, personal loan to cover the additional 25% to become 50/50 partners? Or as a first time investor, should I take this 25% share, low risk investment and learn the ropes?
PS. first post on BiggerPockets, excited to be here & appreciate you all!
