Newbie to wholesaling

Michelle Rouelle
Posted

Just wanted to introduce myself and say I'm happy to have found this forum. I live in Northern NH and I'm a new wholesaler. Looking for advise on lead generation. My market is small but I'm not wanting to go virtual until I have done my first deal. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have tried lists and driving for dollars but that has gotten me nowhere fast. I keep doing it but it seems to be a big waste of my time. UGH!

Hey @Michelle Rouelle

It took me 6 months of consistent marketing before I got my first deal. Wholesaling is not an easy business to get into. Sure, you can get lucky with one deal, but you have to be super patient and disciplined to get consistent results. It is not going to happen fast; you have to test different marketing channels for a long period of time to assess the conversion and ROI. Right now, my marketing channels are SMS and cold calling.

What I wish I knew when I first got started is that this business is a sales and marketing business, and real estate happens to be the product. Focus on your sales and communication skills, and keep your process simple.

Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Good Luck
