I've got an LLC for something else... can I use it for real estate too?

Hey y'all!

I'm a new investor planning on buying my primary residence and a rental property both this fall in northern Utah. I've had an LLC for my independent contract work for the past 3 years. I don't know much about LLC's other than it has saved me money on my taxes for what I do. Can or should I put my primary residence (we're planning on house hacking) and my rental properties in the LLC's name?

Best,

Jake
