So I have been doing a lot of research into the whole buying, selling, renting out ordeal for the past few weeks. I am not sure on the legal aspect of it all. So my question here is for Iowa does one need to have any legal certifications or documentation to do any of that in Iowa? I am badly considering trying something new for a better future that works for me and my family. I can hold my own on DIY options on home repairs, but not sure if there are some things that are required by Iowa Law in order to do certain things on a house like electrical work and building codes.
