Starting out in REI and looking to build a group

Hello All!
I am currently 24 years old and living in Texas working a decent W-2 job. I've recently started learning more about the world of REI and while watching podcasts and reading books on REI has gotten me really excited about the potential, I want to actually take the next step towards my goal and build connections with people in the space. I am currently looking to form a small group of people that are complete newbies or even have experience investing to connect with on a consistent basis via zoom, teams, etc. to chat and make some solid connections. I believe having a core group of like-minded folks holding each other accountable in taking actionable steps to achieve your goal can give you a much higher chance of succeeding in this competitive and difficult space.
