Retail investment networking

Hi,

I am a new investor in the Twin Cities metro area looking to get into retail properties. I am older and looking for something more passive. I would prefer not to deal with multifamily tenants (I watched my dad have bad experiences with them). I have been doing a lot of reading and learning and think I understand the lingo and how to analyze properties. I am looking to network with other investors in the area.
