Fellow Door Knockers

I wanted to reach out to see if anyone uses door knocking a method of lead generation. I am not new to real estate but I am new to the market here in Maryland. I had been hearing about door knocking being a great way to generate leads so I started about 2 months ago door knocking for 2 hours a day . I haven't gotten any listings yet but I wanted to know if any one had any advice for me if they are a door knocker.
