New Wholesaler in Texas

Hello Everyone,

I have considered getting into REI for some time now. After weighing all the options, I've decided to try wholesaling. I recently took a masterclass that gave a high level view of various REI options, but they are asking $20k for a mentorship. I'm not willing to pay that kind of money right now for a mentorship. However, this is scary for me since I know REI is so competitive at this point in time, and there is a huge learning curve.

At this point I am trying to decide which market to start looking into in Texas. Any ideas on how best to do about doing this research? I'd appreciate any tips since I am new to the game.

Thanks,

Heather

You don’t need to pay for any mentorship to learn how to wholesale or invest in real estate. There are way too many free resources. Paid education can be a plus when you are trying to reach new levels once you are already established. As a beginner, there is so much to digest that is free.
