Good Ideas to purchase section 8 or cheap multi Units in?

Hello, I want to purchase my first multifamily house in the Midwest since it's cheaper and scales from there. Around 50 -60K range for a 3 unit. Any ideas of good markets to do this in? It doesn't specifically have to be the Midwest as long as the numbers work. Thanks!
