Hey, @Derrick Stenson where are you looking to invest?  BiggerPockets has an agent finder in the main toolbar.

Right now I don’t have specific area cause I’m in. The military but I’m getting out soon so not sure the area I’ll be in yet but long distance investing would be a possibility

David Greene wrote a book about long-distance investing.  I would recommend reading it so you can develop a strategy moving forward.  I personally think it's risky for your first investment, but there are a lot of people who start that way.  Feel free to reach out with any questions you come up with!!
