STARTING OUT. WHERE TO BUY DICOUNTED POPERTIES?

I HEAR THIS TERM> DISCOUNETD PROPERTY. BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS. i'm lookign to start out here. I live in Florida. looking to buy a distressed property, fix it up, appraise it and buy another. but i'm thinking where do i find tenants? or how do i enter STR world? i really need help! any advice is MUCH MUCH appreciated. Thank you!

it's a property selling for less than it's actually worth.

Example: a single-family home in my market costs $375,000. A lady comes to me privately, asking to sell a home she inherited but she doesn't want it public knowledge because she used to work for a different REALTOR that she doesn't like. It's a small town and she doesn't want this lady to know that she chose another REALTOR. So I offered to buy it privately for a discounted price of $300,000. Even better, I negotiated seller financing and got terms that were better than the bank. Even though she pocketed far less than she would on the open market, I met her need and she was over-the-moon happy.

Discounted properties are not easy to find, otherwise everyone would be fighting for them. You have to do the hard work to find them by talking to people, driving for dollars, researching online, etc.
