Advice with Student Loans

Stephanie Thomas
Posted

Hello!

Looking for some insight. I have about $100,000 in student loans and make about $60,000 per year. Total debt is roughly $105,000.

In your opinion, what would the best loan option be for starting to invest? Start an LLC? Try to borrow privately/traditionally? Or is there another option I might not even know about?

Thank you in advance!

That is a lot of debt. You need to work like crazy and develop a side hustle to pay that down quickly. It will probably at least 3 years for you to pay that off. That's about when I would start considering investments. You don't want to have that mountain of debt while trying to make mortgage and car payments as well.
