Best ways to start out
Hello Everyone,
I am just getting started out and looking to buy my first rental property through Rent to Retirement. I am wanting to purchase a turnkey property in either the Kansas City, Birmingham, and Memphis areas.
The properties on the Rent to Retirement website all cash flow based on how they calculate cash flow and I have only heard great things about the company. I am wanting to know if purchasing a property through R2R is a good way to start out or if there is a better way get into real estate investing?
Does anyone have any advice on getting started with Rent to Retirement or rentals in these regions?
Thank you for your advice.

@Taft Henderson Thanks for the interest! We feel privileged to be a part of your investing journey if our team is the right fit for your goals. There are a lot of creative ways to invest with RTR beyond just the typical TK, so please make sure to explore all options. These include cash flow rentals in the midwest like KC (where I've been personally investing for over 12 years now), but also things like BTR properties that offer equity & a brand new loan option available that offers 100% financing on up to 5 properties exclusive to our network. Many interesting things to fully understand as you decide on what the best starting point is.
Below are many other posts that will likely help to answer your questions & connect with many others on the same journey as you! Feel free to reach out at any point in time with any questions.
