Looking For Guidance

Looking for genuine help! Someone who can possibly help as a mentor and has a knowledge in buying and holding real estate out of state. As you guys know RE is tricky and hard to navigate and trying to find someone who truly wants to help is hard. Not looking to spend thousands of dollars on a course or to be sold something, just want help in pointing me in the right direction and someone to be there to answer any questions I may have.

Hi, I second @Chris Stonestreet 's answer. Best bet is meeting local people through real estate groups. I have done this and met some excellent people in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area. In fact, it is how I found a contractor who renovated a property for me. These events are great because they can really help you build a team because you will meet realtors, investors, mortgage brokers, contractors, etc. My advice is try to find someone who is both an investor and a realtor but an investor alone is great too.
