Finding a Broker Sponsor- Taking SC Real Estate Salesperson Course

Hello! Bigger Pockets newbie here (long time reader, first time poster). I am starting my RE Salesperson SC course. By day I am a civil engineer Project Manager and by evening a DIY home-renovator. Hoping to start doing my own real estate transactions by getting my license in SC, but curious as to how others found a Broker to sponsor them for their investment transactions? Looking to expand my SC license to GA once I have it, so it would be great to find a Broker with the same state qualifications. I would prefer a per-deal fee versus a monthly pay. Not looking to start off with a crazy amount of transactions in the beginning, but I can dream for the future! Thank you!
