New to Wholesaling

Looking to start wholesaling. I have been doing some intensive research to be certain that I know what I am doing. Any advice and initial steps would be greatly appreciated. 

I am also open to having a mentor walk me through the first deal, if possible. 

If you know of anyone that is willing to mentor, please let me know.
