TIP - HERE ARE MY TOP 3 QUESTIONS TO ASK DURING YOUR SEWER INSPECTION
If you are a newer investor or already have a rental this tip may help you when it is time for a sewer inspection.
If you are buying a 100 year old investment property, it is wise to get the sewer line camera inspected. This should be part of your tenant proofing process. If you don’t and you have a sewer line break while tenants are occupying the property, it could affect your monthly cashflow.
Here are my top 3 questions to ask your inspector.
- Is there any major shifting in the lining of the pipe?
- Are there any major cracks in the sewer line?
- What is the life expectancy of the sewer line?
