First Investment Property

Chris Battista
Posted

Hi all,

I am a young professional in Manhattan with ~$40k liquid to begin my investing adventure. I'm hoping the community can provide me with any tools/tips they're willing to share when it comes to forming an LLC to buy, owning and managing a property, etc.

I already have a realtor to assist with the process, as well as banking connections to secure a mortgage, I am simply unsure of the best way to start this process.

Appreciate all help in advance!

@Chris Battista - if your starting out with your first investment property it may not necessarily make sense for you to start an LLC. Insurance would work just fine in most cases. Best to reach out to CPA or Tax Attorney to discuss your situation and whether it makes sense.
