Buying my first out of state property.

In my area houses are really high priced, decided to invest out of state. I found a great investment property and put an offer on it. The property is in need of repairs and I will need to find an honest contractor to get it rent ready. What should I be looking for and what questions should I be asking the contractors before I hire them for the rehab?

Hey Omar, welcome to BiggerPockets! I would say it is always wise to see if you can hear from one of their previous clients. You want to be able to find out how timely are with their commitments, and how much their service would be. If you can hear from someone that they are currently doing business with, you will have a better idea and it could save you in the long run. Since you're investing out of state, this guide will help you get better at it: https://www.biggerpockets.com/... Best of luck on your real estate journey!
