When looking for contractors, what exactly are you searching for?

When searching for a contractor, I would like to know your thought process as to what exactly you're looking for and what are some of the keys words that make you say "this is my contractor/person I'm choosing."

Replied

Check their reputation, quality of work, pricing (asking for an itemized list of all expenses), someone who is proactive (If there is an issue, they outline a few different alternatives).

I also make sure they have worked with investors before so they have an idea of what I am trying to go for.

These are just a few things to keep in mind.

Some contractors are great but some aren't the best so make sure to chat and vet them before deciding which one to go with.
