Currently own 1 STR (Florida) - looking for LTR in SW Virginia

Hi - it's time to for me to shift from accidental investor to "real on purpose" investor LOL. We currently live in a FL beach town, steps from the beach, and are in the process of renovating a farmhouse in rural SW Virginia. Once the farmhouse is completed (1 more month depending on weather) - we will live there and do short term rental on our beach home. We had a great experience doing this in the past with a villa in this same beach town, and are familiar with the market here. That said I want to shift gears and pick up some long term rental investment property near our farmhouse since we will be living in VA at least half the year, so I'm re-joining BP to get myself back in the game. Just wanting to say hi, introduce myself. I'm eager to learn more about this type of investment, and see if anyone else on here is in SW VA.
