Deciding where to become a realtor

Hey guys, I’m kinda stuck. I am 20 years old and can become a realtor in either Bergen County, NJ or Scranton, PA. I have a massive pros and cons list but it basically split down the middle with how high the cost of living is in NJ compared to PA. Also all of my family lives in Scranton and I’m really close with them. Which one would you guys think would be a better fit? I plan on connecting with lots of investors and also house hacking in either circumstance

Just some food for thought if you haven't considered this already... As an agent, who is your target audience?  It sounds like investors are.  There are many investors looking for rental properties in Bergen County area and established investors there already.  I am not sure what the market looks like for that in Scranton.

Then, which area do you know better and where do you already have a good base of connections/sphere.  Those could be other criteria to look at.

You also mentioned house hacking as well - there is an agent/investor on here @Shawn Mcenteer that is pretty knowledgeable about that in the North Jersey area.

Good luck!
