What size ac unit in FL

Hi we need to replace both ac units for our duplex on the beach side of Melbourne. Each side is 850 sq ft. According to internet  It is on the edge between 1.5 and 2 ton units but read about larger units short cycling and less dehumidifies the air. Any reco on which size to get?
