Off Market Offer Letter

What's up BP! I'm interested in making a move on my first deal but it is an off market property. What does an off market letter look/ sound like? How formal or informal does it have to be or is it a simple, I would like to buy your house lol. Thanks for any tips!

It can be as formal or informal as you would like. Too formal and it may scare them off. Too informal and they may think you're not serious. I would base my offer on the apparent sophistication of a seller. In other words, if they are a mom-and-pop with only 1-2 rentals, I would keep it pretty basic and use plain language.
