Best way to get sales experience at 16?

I am looking to get a sales job for the experience this summer in nj, and cannot find any job that is related to sales. I looked online but the only options are restaurants and fast food. How can I get a job that is sales related or does it not matter? There are some jobs that are costumer service, and some like Aeropostale sales. Any suggestions?

At 16 I would tell you, all jobs / business are sales. Some just suck at it and assume their business will be there forever (hello, Blockbuster)

Wait tables bro. Push yourself to sell 10 appetizers and 10 desserts per night. Be friendly but attentive to their needs. Your tips will be your commission. It’s the most humbling entry point to sales but it’s valid skill based learning to excel with later in life.
