Will becoming a part-time real estate agent help my investing?

I have owned a duplex for several years. It cash flows well and a lot of equity. It is unlikely that I will leave my W-2 job but my end goals with real estate are to grow my portfolio so that (1) pay for my kid's college (in 15 years), (2) use my money wisely to supplement my state retirement (in approximately 20 year), (3) cash flow enough to re-invest and continue to grow my portfolio and maybe go on a few family trips in the process.

My question is would becoming a part-time RE agent help me achieve my goals? I was wondering if that would help me learn more about real estate, connect me with more deals, help me build up additional cash to invest, etc. I know it would be a lot of work to do part-time but it seems like it could help and I think I could enjoy it as well.

Any feedback from more experienced investors would be helpful.
