Owner occupy and room share
I currently have a house with my sister and we rent out our vacant rooms. I'm looking into buying a house now that is a 3/2 and house a room detached from the house that is finished nice enough to be another room.
I'd like to owner occupy this new house and rent the rooms out in the house sharing bathrooms and kitchen. My question is that I stay at my girlfriends place maybe 3-4 days out of the week because she lives close to my work and school. (I have no name or ties to her place) I'm home most weekends. Is there a certain number of days I'll actually need to be at the house for it to be considered owner occupied?
(sorry ahead of time for any spelling errors, on my phone)
