Knowing what you know now, how would you start all over again?

Hello all. for the better part of a year, i've been consistently listening to podcasts and trying to educate myself. I want to lay a sturdy foundation before i pull the trigger.

My wife and i are still young (25 and 22) with no kids (we will probably have our first in the coming few years). we're not quite settled in our w-2 careers yet.

My question is this: after all you've learned in your journey so far, what would you do differently if you had to start all over again? How would you lay your foundation? what questions should i be asking?

Thank you in advance!
