Insurance Agent Starting to Invest

Patrick Lile
Posted

We are a local insurance agency in the greater Kansas City area. We work with a lot of investors and insure a lot of rental properties throughout the Midwest. I am now looking to get involved in investing myself. I have studied it for a while and always pick the brain of the investors we work with. However, I question where to start. Single family home vs. multi-unit. Long term vs. short term. How to pick the best location. Etc. Any help on where to get started?

Thank you in advance.
