Investing in Columbia, Missouri

My daughter is planning on attending the University of Missouri. I'd like to purchase a rental property there, and have the option of having her and future room mates utilize it in the next few years.  I have several rental properties in the Chicago area, but would like to expand to out of state investing. I'm not familiar with the Columbia, MO market. Can anyone advise and/or provide some recommendations.
