Decisions on whether to cash out my 401K and move to real assets

Larry W mullen
Posted

I am at the point where I can take distribution from my 401K, and would like to move from paper assets to real assets.  Does anyone have any ideas on if this is a good idea, and are there any tax strategies I can employee to reduce Uncle Sam's sticky fingers.

Yes, if the IRA owns the property, all income from IRA owned assets belong to the IRA. In Larry's case since he is eligible to take distributions he can take the cash flow as the distribution.
