Start with $15k or wait and save

My partner and I are getting started with real estate investing and are trying to get a sense of our options. Should we:

1. Try to find creative ways to get started with $15k? If so, what are our options?

2. Wait a year to save up more capital, to be able to buy a flip or BRRRR all cash (or another strategy)?

We’re NY based but will likely invest long-distance. Would love your thoughts and would appreciate talking through options, if anyone would be interested. Thanks!
