NEW TO REI AND WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT WITH OTHER LIKEMINDED PEOPLE
Hello Everyone! My name is Danielle Loder and live in SW Virgnia. I am new to this forum, just like I am brand new to pretty much everything I am doing lately lol. I have been in the mortgage industry for going on 6 years now and currently own & operate my 1-woman show, mortgage contract processing company. I am NMLS licensed in VA, FL, KY, TN, & MO (please note this is mortgage licensed, not MLS licensed - I have had people thinking that I am saying that I am MLS licensed). I have been married for 15 years next month and we have 2 sons - 10 & 3. I am looking to take my mortgage background to the next level to help my husband and I acquire some financial & time freedom. I just got through a 7 day masterclass which has really opened up my eyes to the possibilities that are out there for regular people like ourselves! I am here to learn as much as I can and network to make connections for future deals (hopefully sooner than later) - I am ready to take my first ACTION step but still learning how to crawl lol...BUT I got through the masterclass and jumped right into a 30 day challenge with another group which is what has brought me here today. I am so excited to know about this group now! I look forward to connecting, having conversations about the very ambiguous world of REI, and possibly even partnering up with someone to get my first deal underway!! :)

Welcome to BiggerPockets!
You should get adequate knowledge of real estate and strategies you are planning to apply.
Also explore various financing and partnering options.
You can start by joining local real estate clubs, attending meetups and connecting with local agents and investors.
Do a thorough local market research and analysis.
A local Investor-Agent can help shorten your learning curve and save you a lot of headaches as they tend to understand the market better.
All the best!
