Pulling the trigger on long-distance buy and hold

Hey BP fam!

I had been researching more affordable prospective cities outside mine (California).

Using the lessons I learned on Steve Rozenberg’s video, I’ve settle on Pittsburgh, PA and it’s surrounding proximity. The numbers work out, not amazing, but safe enough to be a starting point for this whole journey.

Any thoughts or experiences you’ve all had living, investing here that you think would be helpful for me to know?

If all looks well, next step building the team! Thanks ahead of time for the support.

Adam

@Adam Barakat Pittsburgh has treated me well so far. Good cash flow especially as you get outside of the city into the suburbs/surrounding counties. Universities/Hospitals/tech jobs in the city driving some good appreciation/rent growth in the right neighborhoods. Starting to see a lot of spillover effect neighborhoods gentrifying as well which represents some opportunity. I like to buy both inside and outside of the city to get the best of both worlds.
