Beginner Tips and Advice for Alabama

Hey y'all,

Im looking to start investing in some real estate properties. Multi-family would be ideal.. but unlikely with its price range. Ive saved a good bit and have a solid amount invested in stocks if I really found a good deal. What do you all look for in the area / what's the best tips / tricks for finding a good property?
