code violations and probate

I am in the Seattle area and, I was wondering where the best place to get names and/or addresses of properties with code violations would be? Also I have been having a hard time getting probate information. I called the courthouse and the lady had no idea what I was asking for. Maybe I didnt ask correctly or something. Just wondering if some of you may have some information for me on where I could locate these. Thanks so much!

Anna,

You can call your local police department and ask them who you can contact on property code violations in your city. Just remember when you find the right department they will only have the address of the violation, and then you can pay a title company to run a title search.
