First investment home - possible deal
This is in the Hayward-San Leandro area.
This home is listed for $1.2m. It is a 4 bd, 2.5 bath. Comps in the area have been in that range including few that have gone as high as $1.5m in the last 2-8 months (obviously it was different time with lower interest rates etc).
Our agents have been going back and forth and I might be able to get this home for $1.05m. I am contemplating now if it is worth pulling the trigger.
If I buy and put it in rent, it will fetch me $3800 - $4250 / month in rent. It will be an appreciation play. I am mostly going to pass on it but would love to get some thoughts from this amazing community.
