Questionable roof repairs for a “newby”
How would you respond to a counter offer where the seller wants to cover roofing defects with liquid asphalt? From what I have collected from professionals is just adding a bandage to the situation and would void any warranty left.

Always ask for money, not repairs. In the form of lowering the price. Unless the seller does the repairs with the company of your choosing
