Looking for mentor near Fairfield County, CT

Account Closed
Posted

I'm located in Fairfield County, CT looking to work under an experienced real estate investor. I'm a licensed realtor with William Raveis in residential. Have yet to do my first deal. Very interested in multifamily rentals, fix and flip, fix and hold, beginning to learn about commercial, would love to connect with someone who has strong connections in construction. Would appreciate any tips on how to go about finding the right mentor.

Chantal,

I would recommend you start with attending local meetups. Through conversations with other investors you will probably find what you are looking for. I know CTREIA holds a monthly meetup both in Rocky Hill CT and Stamford CT. You can start there. If you are ever up in New Britain CT, you can stop by my meetup as well :) which is held the third Thursday of every month. From these meetups, you will build relationships and the people you are looking for will start to magically appear.

Good luck and reach out if you ever want chat. I myself am both an agent and investor based out of Central CT.
