Hello, Does Anyone have experience with Friend of the court dissecting a federal schedule E and rewriting the profit-loss for their benefit/profit?

Replied

I have direct experience with the Michigan Friend of the Court.  While the court may like them, they are often not a friend to the people they are supposed to serve.  My ex-wife and I were united, fighting against Friend of the Courts, over some bonehead decisions they made regarding how child support payments were processed.

I can't speak to your specific situation, but I found one tool that can help.  You can call them until you are blue in the face and get nowhere.  Every time I wrote a letter, I got a thorough, if not intelligent response.  (There must be a law requiring them to respond to written inquiries.) I became a letter writing fiend until someone higher up the food chain explained how we could resolve the problem.

Good luck.
