Newbie Real Estate Honest Question
Hi Everyone, I'm brand new here. My question is, I lost my job a few months ago (in a completely unrelated industry that I don't want to continue in). I really do not want to get another "job," and am super excited to be independent. I did great in my last sales job - I'm just tired of building wealth for other people. Real estate investing is one of the things I'd like to get into. Is it realistic that as a complete rookie, and some but not a lot of money in the bank, that I can turn this into a paying/profitable business within 3 to 6 months? That's about the amount of time I have in savings before I'd need to get a "job." I have something I've never had before which is TIME, and am willing to put in the work to learn, I just don't know quite where to start. Any advice/pep talks are welcome :) Thanks!

I'd look into become a realtor, appraiser, lender, etc. It'll keep you around other RE professionals and give you some income while you build the investment business.
