Types of Loans in Real Estate

You have to start somewhere, and here I am! SO! I have been listening to the podcasts and attended my first webinar -exciting. But, what are the types of loans within real estate? I know Conventional and FHA , and I have heard of Hard Money Lenders, but don't quite know anything.... Is there a podcast that goes into depth with these (i.e which ones work best with certain properties, etc.) or if anyone could help me out, that would be awesome! Thank you!
