Starting Out & No Idea Where to Go

Hey everyone. I want to get into REI, but have no idea where to start or how. Especially given that my discretionary income isn't too much at this point in life. A little bit of background: I bought my primary residence (SFH) back in January in NW Arkansas. I'm open to investing in other markets, too.

What recommendations, advice, mentors, etc do you have for me?
