Request guidance reg LLC or something else

Myself and my friend want to buy one investment property. Accountant advised us to form LLC so as to reduce the liability and protect our existing assets against any unforeseen events. When we were about to create the LLC, we reached out to the financial broker and we got advised that many lenders may not consider lending to LLC. Even if they do, the game would be entirely different and they would qualify us for a loan that will be more treated like commercial rather than residential. But mine and my friend's intent is to buy and then rent out the property. We are now greatly confused. Please advise.
