What part-time job should I work for to gain more knowledge 4 REI
Hello!
I am a 19-year-old college student that is heading into summer break and wants to use this break wisely to gain some REI knowledge. Along with possibly shadowing a real estate agent, I would like to work a part-time job that deals with REI. I am thinking about working at a bank to get insight into how loans work and dealing out loans (plus it will also look good on my resume because I am a finance major) or working for a construction company to learn more about basic construction for the rehab process.
Do you guys think this is a good idea? If so, which employment would you choose? If I apply to work at a bank, would any bank work or is there a specific bank I should look for?
Are there any other jobs I should consider working at that will help me further my knowledge of the REI process?
I believe this is my best next step to gaining knowledge in REI without needing to purchase a property at this moment.
Thank you all for your help!
