Can someone help me understand this term please? also, what is the reason a property would go through this process? I feel like there is some elevated risk in this case but would love to get some feedback on this.

An example of a daisy chain is as follows.

Seller signs contract with a wholesaler. The wholesaler then signs an assignment contract with ANOTHER wholesaler. The second wholesaler would then try to bring in a buyer and sign yet another contract.

To recap - Seller - Wholesaler 1 - Wholesaler 2 - Buyer

This can be done in lending as well  - Borrower - Broker 1- Broker 2 - Actual lender

Daisy chains are usually not good for the consumer lol.
