S Corporation or LLC - Financing 1 to 4 units
I have historically invested in properties by owning them personally.
I recently sold a business that was an S corporation, and now I am in a 1031 to exchange the real estate from the previous business.
I am finding that it is difficult to finance 1 to 4 units as an S corporation.
Does anyone have a strategy to purchase smaller properties and still shield your liability? Will I do any better with an LLC?
