New to Real Estate Investing, Looking to Invest Soon! :)
Hello!
My name is Rebecca. I am a brand new Registered Nurse now working at Overlake Hospital. I'm really excited about my job and love it so far but I know this is not exactly what I want to be doing forever. I started saving as soon as I started my job and I am hoping to start investing in RE since I know this will be a great way to invest in my future.
Any tips for investing in real estate that you wish you knew when you first started?
I'm really excited to be able to connect with you all!

Tips:
-Read as much as you can on real estate investing, with realistic information not get rich quick hype.
-If this is your first home purchase, get a multi unit if you can to get in to it with less money up front (This is one I wish I had done). Be careful with them and do your due diligence.
-Stick to the numbers making sure you don't lose money
-Use a property manger. Research them well to make sure they're a quality PM company
-If it's too good to be true it probably is.
-Get familiar with the community you're buying in. Consult realtors and property managers familiar with the area to make sure it's a desirable property.
There's lots more, that's a start. Others will add to it.
