I know there are tons of videos and tons of info out there. I have watched so many of bigger pockets videos/podcasts.  I just signed up to this site last night. I am a brand new individual to the real estate world.  I have begun to establish some realtor contacts to gain more insight.  As a newbie, where the heck do you start? I have searched realtor sites such as Zillow and realtor.com to see what is out there. A lot of these places are in the mid to upper 200's.  The houses I have found in the lower 100's look like a train wreck. As a new person starting out, what direction do you look to go as a first time investor? Some of these places look like you would need an additional 30k just to fix up. If you don't have that additional "rehab" money where do you start?  Doing hands on work is no issue for me. I started out in habitat for humanity in highschool. Later on in life I had a roommate that built houses and was able to watch how and what he did.
