Starting out - seeking connections in San Fernando Valley CA

Hey everyone!

I'm a newbie, looking to kickstart my wealthbuilding with properties, leaning towards SFR's in an out-of-state market. I'd love to meet up with others who have done this, and would really love to find a mentor I can work with to build my knowledge and confidence. I have a full-time job but like to hustle and would be happy to provide value however I can!

I've got great credit and a little savings built up, and I've been learning about real estate for the last few years but never taken the plunge to buy my first house. I'm working on nailing down the fundamentals now so I can make the leap with confidence, but I'd love to connect with others who have done it and hear their experiences. Anyone in the area who would be down to meet up, or can recommend a good local meetup?
